Position vacant: Casual Wash Attendant

Goulburn Car & Dog Wash is seeking a Casual Wash Attendant to join our team. To begin with the role would work 2-3 days per week depending on other staff availability, with potential for increased shifts in the future.

Hours are strictly 8:30am-5pm, and weekend work is required of this role, most weeks. The role would suit a university student, a retiree/semi-retiree or someone seeking only 2-3 days work per week who is able to work one day each weekend.

Duties:

Customer Service; assisting customers to understand and use our equipment
Cleaning of site; washing down bays, sweeping, emptying bins, pressure washing etc.
Gardening
Ensuring soap levels are maintained among other duties in plant room.
Basic maintenance of equipment including wash guns, brushes, vacuums and dogwash

Essential skills:

Experience in a customer service role or equivalent skills
Time management skills
Ability to safely lift 20kg without assistance
Ability to safely use a ladder unsupervised
A positive attitude and the desire to work outside.

Desirable skills

Previous experience in the car wash industry
Mechanical skills and the ability to work with basic tools
Experience working with pumps or in a plumbing capacity.

Award wages are paid by Goulburn Car & Dog Wash, with penalty rates for weekendwork and overtime.
